After a sabbatical of almost three years, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his comeback on the big screen with Siddharth Anand’s directorial Pathan. While fans are eagerly waiting for his presence on the big screen, here is another good news for Shah Rukh’s fans. Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan has joined hands for his next venture with malayalam director Aashiq Abu.
A powerhouse of talent, director Aashiq Abu has delivered some of his best works to the Malayalam film industry which speaks loud of his perfection and different style of executing the storyline. For a long time, rumors were there that the director is making his way to enter Bollywood, and that too with none other than Superstar Shah Rukh Khan. And now the director has confirmed the news.
As reported by TOI, in an interview, Aashiq Abu spilled beans on his forthcoming project with legendary actor King Khan. The South director revealed that in a meeting, he and his team had explained the story idea to the Superstar.
Further speaking about the project, Abu said that in order to develop the story thread, a lot of time will be needed. He also said that due to the sudden wake of the pandemic, further meetings with the actor got delayed as Shah Rukh Khan’s lined up project dates got changed.
Talking about the untitled project with King Khan, Aashiq Abu said that Syam Pushkaran who bagged the National film award for ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ will pen down the script for the star. Also, Abu shared that the project which is under the talks will start anytime soon in the future.
