The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summons to Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan over the sale of share of Knight Riders Sports. The franchise is owned by SRK along with Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta.
The actor has been summoned for allegedly violating Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) norms by undervaluing its share in a transfer deal in 2008. It is believed that the KKR shares sold to a Mauritius company, were undervalued.
SRK has asked for more time to appear before the ED as he is currently out of town.
This is the third summon sent to the actor - he was last summoned by the ED in May 2015.
