There is no actor in the Bollywood industry quite like Shah Rukh Khan who can manage to charm the audience with not just his acting prowess, but also his brilliant and humble public speeches. The Bollywood megastar has appeared on several talk shows and whether it is Ted Talks India or Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan, Shah Rukh Khan has left us in awe of his speeches. Now, the much-awaited My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with Shah Rukh Khan, dropped online on Netflix recently where the megastar was seen in a candid conversation with David Letterman. One of the topics he talked about was his son Aryan Khan and whether he will make a career in acting.

On the chat show with David Letterman, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that since Aryan Khan is his kid they expect him to follow his footsteps and go ahead in the same career path. However, he said that that Aryan doesn’t want to act and SRK himself thinks he cannot act. “My son doesn’t want to act and I don’t think he can. But in India, it’s like if you are a movie star’s son then you might become a movie star. He looks nice and he’s tall and okay. But I don’t think he has what it takes perhaps, and he realises it himself,” Shah Rukh Khan said. He further added that wanting to be an actor has to come from within and then later one can learn the skills. He said he realized it from his son Aryan Khan when he one day came to SRK and said that he doesn't think he wants to act. Further stating Aryan’s issue with it, he said, “His issue was, which I think is very very practical and honest, every time I will be compared to you. So if I do well it will not be because I got skilled at this but it will be like, obviously he is the son so he will do well. It's in the genes.”
