Forbes released the list of Worlds Highest Paid Celebrities yesterday and superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are among them.
Shah Rukh, the top-ranked Indian, has bagged the 65th position with his earnings of $38 million. The actor featured in Fan and Dear Zindagi last year.

Furthermore, Salman Khan stood at the 71st position on the list with earnings of $37 million. The superstar gave one of the biggest blockbusters, Sultan, last year which also starred Anushka Sharma. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial earned over Rs 500 crore worldwide.

Up next, the ever dependable Akshay Kumar was at No. 80 with earnings of $35.5 million. He had 3 releases in 2016 -- Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3). Calling him “king of the Bollywood box office,” the magazine says he, “mints millions through both starring and ensemble roles. He still keeps busy, starring in four movies in our scoring period. Kumar also pulls in seven figures hawking products from deodorant to Eveready batteries.”

American rapper, singer and songwriter Sean Combs leads the Forbes list with earnings of $130 million, followed by Beyonce Knowles with earnings of $105 million.
Unlike last time, Amitabh Bachchan failed to make it to the list.

To talk of Forbes’ list 2016, Shah Rukh ranked 86th on the list with earnings of $33 million, while Akshay came in on the 94th spot with $31.5 million earnings.
