After the debacle of Aanand L Rai’s Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif and his exit from Saare Jahan Se Acha, the actor has still not announced his next project. Earlier, rumour mills were buzzing that SRK will be starring in Farah Khan’s next Satte Pe Satta remake and Atlee Kumar’s Sanki which he was supposed to announce it on his birthday. Nevertheless, nothing of those sorts happened until now. According to some reports, it is said that SRK will be playing a hot-headed guy in the film, Sanki.

However, the recent reports say that the Zero actor’s film will not be titled as Sanki anymore, courtesy: Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan. According to the Mumbai Mirror report, Sajid has registered Sanki title with the Film Producers Guild Of India. A source affiliated to the Guild was quoted by Mirror, saying that Salman had suggested that Sajid should register the title when they were making Kick.

Even though they eventually stuck with Kick for their film, Sajid still owns the title Sanki and without his NOC (No Objection Certificate), no one else can use it. In fact, there are three other producers in the queue for this much-wanted title which includes Rajkummar Hirani, Gurinder Chadha and Atlee Kumar. Well, we wonder don’t who will be owning the title, for now, we are waiting for an official announcement from them.

Meanwhile, SRK had a wonderful celebration on his birthday as he celebrated it with fans outside his mansion, Mannat at midnight as well as the next day along with his son AbRam. King Khan even celebrated his 54th birthday in a packed auditorium where millions of fans came in to wish the superstar. There, SRK even committed saying that he will be releasing a film in 2020. On his birthday, many Bollywood celebs expressed their love and poured in wishes for him on their social media, even Ayushmann Khurrana gave a tribute to the actor with a Bala style.

However, the one wish that took everyone by storm was Salman Khan’s when he recreated his signature pose on his Instagram handle and said that ‘phone toh utha leta mera.’ Shah Rukh Khan is the first Bollywood actor to lit up Burj Khalifa on his birthday.
