Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was granted bail on Thursday by the Bombay High Court in the Mumbai drug bust case. Many celebrities welcomed the court’s order, and showed solidarity with SRK and his family. However, Shah Rukh’s Dil Se co-star Piyush Mishra has a different take.
Piyush Mishra, in an interview with Hindustan Times, was asked about his reaction to Aryan Khan's bail. He said, "What will be my reaction? Kiya usne, usko bail mil gayi, baahar aa gaya woh. Abb Shah Rukh Khan jaane, unka beta jaane ya Sameer Wankhede jaane. Mujhe usse kya matlab hai? Theek hai ho gaya. Jo kiya hain woh bhugtenge aap. Apne apne bachchon ko sambhaalein, bas yahi hai.”
For the unversed, Piyush has worked with SRK in the 1998 film Dil Se, which featured him essaying him a CBI investigation officer.
Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan, along with a few others, was arrested by the NCB on October 3 in connection with the seizure of banned drugs onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan was sent to 14-day judicial custody on October 7 and has been lodged at the Arthur Road jail since then.
Following Aryan Khan's arrest, several stars came forward to show their support to SRK and Gauri. This includes Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Bhatt, among others.
Several celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, R Madhavan, Sonu Sood and Swara Bhasker among others, welcomed Aryan's bail plea verdict too.
