After dating for a few years, Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar tied the knot at Javed Akhtar's farmhouse 'Sukoon' in Khandala. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani, who shares a great bond with Farhan, hosted a party at his residence for the newlyweds. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Karisma Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Shah Rukh Khan's kids, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, along with Gauri Khan attended Farhan-Shibani's wedding bash. However, SRK was missing.
According to a report in IndiaToday.in, Shah Rukh Khan was missing because he wants to keep a 'low-profile'.
IndiaToday.in quoted a source saying, "Shah Rukh Khan is trying to keep a low profile as much as possible. Unless it is for his work, he is not willing to step out. After his son's arrest in an alleged drug case in October 2021, Shah Rukh Khan has made fewer public appearances. The one time he was spotted was during Pathan's shoot and his look went viral. Post that, he was seen at Lata Mangeshkar's funeral." ALSO READ:Shah Rukh Khan Is Back On Instagram After 4 Months Break, His Fans Can’t Keep Calm
The report further adds that even though SRK didn't attend Farhan-Shibani's wedding bash, he extended good wishes to the couple. The source added, "He called up Farhan and Shibani and congratulated them on their wedding and sent them best wishes. His family went to the function and represented him."
Shah Rukh Khan will be making his comeback with Siddharth Anand's Pathan. Pathan is slated to release later this year. Earlier, during an interaction with the media, Salman Khan revealed that he and Shah Rukh Khan will be doing cameo crossovers in each other's films. "We will both be seen in Tiger 3 as well as Pathan. Tiger will be released by December. Pathan may release before it, aur phir dono shayad saath aayenge," said Salman.
Besides that, SRK is also rumoured to be a part of Atlee's next.
