Imtiaz Ali was a happy man yesterday. The day was special because it was his 46th birthday and also because he showed his next film, Jab Harry Met Sejal’s trailer to a section of media in a private screening.
The preview, which was held at Lightbox, Juhu, was attended by Shah Rukh Khan. SRK cut his director's cake at the screening as well with the media.
After the preview, Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz moved the celebration to Korner House, Bandra. Here are the pictures:

A little later, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and a few more of his close friends too joined the gang and wished Imtiaz Ali. While Deepika has worked with Imtiaz in hits like Love Aaj Kal (2009) and Tamaasha (2015), Ranbir has worked with him in Rockstar (2011).

His next film's leading lady, Anushka Sharms was MIA. BUT Anushka tweeted funny pictures and captions wishing Imtiaz Ali.

In one of the tweets, Anushka is asking SRK why they have that particular expression while posing with the birthday boy. Well, we can’t guess either but they all surely look hilarious.
A few days back, Imtiaz Ali announced the title of his next with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The title, Jab Harry Met Sejal, was zeroed in after considering a lot of names like The Ring, Raula, Rehnuman. Imtiaz has shot the film in various locations like Budapest, Prague, Lisbon and Amsterdam.
The movie, which will reportedly see SRK play a tour guide to Anushka, is believed to be vastly different from the kind of romantic films that Bollywood has seen till date.
Coming back to the birthday boy’s bash, we hope Imtiaz Ali had a night to remember.
