Shah Rukh Khan And Kajol In Sequel Of Hindi Medium?

While Irrfan Khan will be reprising his role from Hindi Medium, it's being reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will also be a part of the film

There have been reports around the sequel to Hindi Medium since the past few months. It was being said that Irrfan Khan will be marking his return to films with the sequel post his medical treatment. Not only that, there were stories around Sara Ali Khan playing Irrfan's daughter in the sequel. Then, there were news of Homi Adajania replacing Saket Chaudhary as the director.

Now, Bombay Times has reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are possibly roped in together for the sequel. While Irrfan will be reprising his role from the first part, SRK-Kajol's story might be set in the US. As per BT, SRK-Kajol have participated in the initial scrip- reading sessions too.

Shah Rukh and Irrfan have worked together in the past in Billu Barbar (2009), which was also produced by SRK. The two Khans share a great rapport and have always been there for each other. When Irrfan opened up about his ill-health, it was Shah Rukh- Aamir and Salman Khan, who came ahead to promote his then release Blackmail.

Also, if reports of SRK-Kajol are indeed true, it will be a good treat for fans of the duo, who are waiting to see them work their magic again. They were last seen romancing each other in Rohit Shetty's Dilwale (2015).
