Will we ever be so lucky to see Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a 'part 2' of his 2007 film Chak De! India? Well, we don't know. But the head coach of Indian national women's hockey team Sjoerd Marijne has given us hope. At least, an idea. All thanks to him thanking SRK on Twitter for 'all the love and support'.
Hockey fans in India, including Shah Rukh Khan, were left disappointed on the morning of August 6, when the Indian Women’s Hockey Team lost the Bronze medal contest to Great Britain at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020. Shah Rukh Khan was also left heartbroken with this defeat, and he penned an inspiring message cheering the team for their effort. Team coach Sjoerd Marijne had a rather Bollywood-ish way to thank the superstar. He said it was great to have the support from the best in Bollywood, and further asked him if Chak De 2 was in the making.
Sjoerd Marijne's tweet read: “Thank you @srk for all the love ! It's great to have support from the best in Bollywood. It's time for Chak De part 2, what say?” Are Yashraj Studios, Shimit Amin and SRK listening?
SRK had earlier tweeted: “Heartbreak!!! But all reasons to hold our heads high. Well played Indian Women’s Hockey Team. You all inspired everyone in India. That itself is a victory.”
