Dhadak makers have unveiled the second song of the film, Zingaat earlier today. The song is the Hindi remake of 2016’s Marathi chartbuster of the same name, from Sairat.

While Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are seen flaunting their electrifying moves in the video, the song itself has been getting a lot of backlash from people on social media. Trolls have attacked the song saying that it's not as good as the original one, and seems like a pale copy of the Marathi version.

Despite that, the makers have taken to social media to share a new video of Janhvi and Ishaan rehearsing the steps of the song. Frankly, it is surely too cute to miss out. Check it out right here:

This Hindi version is composed and sung by Ajay-Atul, who also composed the Marathi version. The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the dance steps have been choreographed by Farah Khan.

The trailer of Dhadak was released earlier this month and made a great first impression. Janhvi reminded us of her mother Sridevi almost all along in the prelude. Ishaan, who impressed immensely in Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, was intense.

Coming back to the song, Karan Johar wanted a typical item song feel to it with a big canvas and commercial touch. Director Shashank Khaitan had contrasting ideas about it but what Farah eventually did with it was completely different.

While talking to a leading daily Farah had then revealed, "Karan said that his director Shashank [Khaitan] was scared to call me and that he really wants me to do a song for the movie. The minute he said that the song in question is Zingaat, I told him that I won't do it because it's a cult song.”

Janhvi and Ishaan, both, are stars in the making.
