Satish Kaushik's sudden departure has left everyone heartbroken. Social media is flooding with condolence messages from fans and celebrities across the entertainment industry. India lost yet another exceptional gem. At the age of 66, he passed away due to a heart attack when he was visiting a friend in Gurugram, Delhi. Earlier it was reported that his body has been sent to a hospital in Delhi for postmortem.
According to ANI, the initial report of his postmortem suggests that no injury mark was found on his body. The actor passed away due to a cardiac arrest. It is now being reported that his last rites will be conducted in Versova, Mumbai at 5 PM. His body has arrived at his residence from Delhi's Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital through an air ambulance. According to the statement circulated by the late filmmaker’s family, his cremation procession will proceed from his residence in Versova to the Versova Crematorium. Shedding light on his last moments, Kaushik’s manager Santosh Rai told the media that he was with the actor throughout. Quoted by Indian Express, he said, “Satish ji went off to sleep at around 9.40 pm last night and called me to say that he was feeling restless around 10.00 pm. For the unversed, Satish Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. After starting his career in theatre, he went on to make a name for himself in Bollywood as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter and a comedian. He has movies like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Brick Lane, Saajan Chale Sasural, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Tere Naam among many others to his credit. He will be last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
