The year 2020 is turning to be the worst in the history of Bollywood. Within six months, we have lost so many gems. Starting with Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor to now the death of Saroj Khan - Bollywood is living its nightmare. The legendary choreographer breathed her last on July 3 in a hospital in Mumbai. She suffered a cardiac arrest and left for her heavenly abode. Ever since the news of Saroj Khan's demise has made it to the headlines, many celebrities took to social media to express sorrow and pay their tributes.

Sonam Kapoor shared a few throwback pictures with Saroj Khan and wrote, "Rest in peace guruji." Malaika Arora too did the same and wrote, "RIP saroji masterji." Varun Dhawan who got an opportunity to work with Saroj Khan in his film Kalank and wroye, "We were blessed to have u. Thank you ma'am for all the songs your legacy lives on."

Kajol, who worked with Saroj Khan for Baazigaar, penned a long note dedicated to the late choreographer. She wrote, "RIP to the most talented coolest choreographer ever! She taught me sooooo much that I always used everywhere in so many other ways. When she danced it was like watching a whole book !"

Saroj Khan's last rites took place early this morning and her mortal remains were buried at Muslim Cemetry Kabristaan, Malad.
