Sujoy Ghosh's crime thriller Badla saw a streak of spectacular actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Taapse Pannu and Amrita Singh in one frame. The film opened to rave reviews and everyone's performances were equally lauded. And while Taapsee and Big B had worked together in Pink before, the former was quite pumped up about collaborating with someone as fierce as Amrita Singh. Taking to her Instagram, the actress recalled her experience about the latter, while sharing a BTS picture that was taken before shooting for the film's interval sequence. Taapsee showered praises on the veteran actress and guess what? Her message did reach to Amrita!

Taapsee shared a beautiful selfie of hers as Naina Sethi, which sees her in a blue dress and curly tresses. In her caption, Taapsee also shared how she wanted to take a selfie with Amrita; however, the latter was neck-deep into her rehearsals. "Being Naina Sethi. This picture I clicked while we were shooting for the interval sequence of Badla. First day of shooting with the fierce Amrita Singh. I don’t know if it’s the Sardarni in me or the no holds barred way of life that connected us n it’s so cool to see her so excited n nervous to approach her scenes like a debutant wanting to do her best n listening to the director with the intention to do her best," wrote Pannu.

She added, "One of the rare actors who has a very nonchalant depth in her performance. I would’ve loved to click a picture with her that day but she was too busy rehearsing her ‘bhaari’ lines while I didn’t have much to say in the scene and I didn’t want to disturb her. #Throwback #Archive #QuarantinePost."
