Sanjay Dutt reportedly has advanced-stage lung cancer. After being diagnosed, the actor immediately announced his break from work for medical attendance. Since then he has been making multiple visits to Kokilaben hospital for several tests. It was reported that he would be going to the US for his treatment, for which he even got a 5-year visa on medical grounds. But later, he decided against it. His second choice was Singapore but that also was put aside. Now, according to a report in TOI, Sanjay Dutt who is in Dubai with wife Maanayata Dutt and kids will soon return to Mumbai for his third cycle of chemotherapy for lung cancer.
The portal claimed that Sanjay is required to be in Mumbai by September 30 for the third cycle and for that he has to make a return to Mumbai in the next few days. After his first chemotherapy cycle ended, Dr Jalil Parkar had told ETimes, "It is not yet known how many cycles will be required. Chemotherapy is never easy to take and the fight against lung cancer is another battle in his life." However, talking about his pending shoots for his forthcoming films, a source told the same portal, "Producers of Sanjay's upcoming films have extended good support and want him to recover first. He completed 'Shamshera' though, which just required him for minimal patchwork."
Nevertheless, other reports suggested that Sanjay Dutt is expected to resume the work on Yash Raj Film's big-budget film Prithviraj, also starring Akshay Kumar, post-Diwali 2020.
Meanwhile, after Sanjay Dutt reunited with his kids, his wife Maanayata shared an endearing family photo and captioned it as, "Today...I want to thank God for the gift of family. No complaints...No requests... just to be together, forever. Amen #blessedbeyondmeasure #love #grace #positivity #dutts #beautifullife #thankyougod"
