Well, throughout the actor's journey, if there was one person who stood beside him like a rock throughout his ordeal, it has to be his late father and actor, Sunil Dutt. The former politician breathed his last on this date, in the year 2005. And today, on his death anniversary, Dutt shared a couple of unseen pictures from his childhood and penned a heartwarming note.

The video posted by the actor was a compilation of his memorable moments with Sunil Dutt. Right from his childhood to the times when they spent some quality time outside, Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Dutt's camaraderie was a treat to watch. No wonder, the Bhoomi actor is so close to his father. In his caption, Dutt thanked his father for always standing by his side and that he misses him every day. "With you by my side, I knew that I don't need to worry about anything. Thank you for always having my back. Miss you today and everyday Dad,” wrote Sanjay.

The actor's post made his wife Maanyata and daughter Trishala emotional. In response to the video, Trishala commented, "15 years, missing dadaji everyday... wish he was here," while Maanyata left a couple of heart emoticons.
