Well, fast forward to now, the actor has been acquitted from all the charges and is in a happy space, both personally and professionally. Now, Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for his next – Prassthanam – which also happens to be his home production.
And, ahead of its release, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, both Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanayata Dutt opened up on the changes that they have seen in the past few years. Maanayata revealed that, in the past, the actor used to be disturbed over the fact that his father and support system, Sunil Dutt, isn’t alive to hear the news that he has gotten rid of the tag ‘terrorist’ from the court. “Earlier, he used to be disturbed, his father didn’t live to hear the court say that he was not a terrorist and acquit him from TADA charges. That had tarnished the family name and bothered him for years," said Maanayata.
