Days after the crew of Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film,
Bhoomi, was forced to pack up due to unruly crowd taking over the sets in Agra,
a complaint has been registered against Sanjay.
The incident goes thus. Team Bhoomi was shooting at a location
close to Taj VIP Road this morning because of which the surrounding area was
cordoned off. Needless to say, the thick security cover coupled with good media
turnout resulted in a traffic jam.
It is alleged that as one of the media photogs went about
covering the chaos at the location, he was attacked by Sanjay’s bouncers.
According to a report registered by a cameraman from
India Voice News Channel at the attached police station, when he was covering
the commotion at the venue, he was attacked by Sanjay’s bouncers, who abused
him and hit him with metal rods.
The report also mentions that the bouncers – about 12 in
number – were following the director and producer’s orders, who in turn were
instructed by Sanjay.

It is alleged that the crew then went on to confiscate
the camera, MIC ID and laptops. The incident left 5 media persons injured.
Post the incident, Sanjay apologised to the gathered
media (WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE).
Hours later the actor at the press conference apologised
yet again and said, “I wasn’t present at the time of the incident. Had I been
present, such incident wouldn’t have occurred. Pyaar ka mamla hai, pyaar se
sambhal leta. Agra has given us lot of love. Nevertheless, I would like to
apologise on everybody’s behalf.” (WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW)
Bhoomi, a revenge drama, revolves around the relationship
between a father and daughter and will be shot in various locales in Uttar
Pradesh. Besides Sanjay, the film stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Shekhar Suman, Sharad
Kelkar and TV actor Sidhant Gupta in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, apart from Bhoomi, Sanjay is helping Ranbir
Kapoor to prep-up for his biopic being directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Aditi, on the other hand, will be juggling two films. She
will be shooting Bhoomi simultaneously with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial
period drama Padmavati where she plays the role of Alauddin Khilji’s (Ranveer
Singh) wife.
