Now, Samantha has reassured fans of her well-being as she dropped a glimpse into her recent visit to Golden Temple in Vellore amid her acting break. For those unaware, Samantha was diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called Myositis, and she opted for a break from films to ensure full recovery from her latest diagnosis.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu visited the Golden Temple in Vellore on July 15, 2023, to seek blessings amid her hiatus on the acting front. Taking to her Instagram stories, the Family Man 2 actress dropped a carousel of pictures from her day out, and she looked simply adorable.
In one of the pictures, the 36-year-old actress can be seen taking a selfie with her friend, and film producer, Jagadish Palanisamy. Moreover, it was her desi look that caught everyone’s attention. In the now-viral picture, Samantha looked beautiful as she donned an orange-coloured kurta that featured sequin and embroidery work.
She teamed it with a matching-hued dupatta, classy glasses, dewy makeup and a loosely-tied hairdo.
Samantha is an avid social media user and often entertains her fans with a glance into her vacations and behind-the-scenes posts. She often sets the internet on fire with her titillating and oh-so-glam pictures.
In another picture, Samantha gave a glimpse into the Golden Temple, which was surrounded by lush green trees. The actress even shared a video of her road trip. In the video, she can be seen enjoying the weather while listening to old Tamil songs.
On October 29, 2022, Samantha opened up about being diagnosed with Myositis.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she dropped a picture of herself from the hospital and penned a long note about her unheard battle with her auto-immune condition.
