News of Katrina
Kaif’s sister Isabelle’s debut with Sooraj Pancholi in Stanley D’costa’s
directorial debut, Time To Dance is constantly making headlines.
And now, to add more buzz
to the news, reports suggest that the film will feature Salman Khan’s superhit
track, O Oh Jaane Jaana, from Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998). The song will be
revised to modern taste and will be crooned by original singer, Kamaal Khan,
who BTW will make a comeback to Bollywood after a long gap.
According to Mumbai
Mirror, there are plans to build a lavish mounted set for the pictursation of
this number. The song will have Salman in a special appearance, shaking a leg
with Sooraj and Isabelle.
“The singer of the
original, Kamaal Khan, returns for the new version while the music has been
composed by Shivai Vyas who is also currently working on Race 3, also featuring
Salman with Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and
Daisy Shah. While the feel of the original has been retained for a nostalgia
trip for Salman fans, the score will be more contemporary and catchy this time
around,” a source close to the development told the daily.
Time To Dance is scheduled
to roll in April in London with a 50-day schedule. Isabelle plays a competitive
ballroom and Latin dancer to her co-star, who is a street dancer. The film is
being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Remo D’Souza. It will feature a lot of
dance forms and will be an out and out dance film.
As far as Salman’s
chartbuster track is concerned, it’s always a pleasure to see the superstar
groove to this hit number and this time will be no different.
