Everyone is aware of Salman Khan’s temperamental nature. Facing his wrath this time was veteran art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai (owner of ND Studios in Karjat). So what happened between the two?

The story goes, Sallu requested Nitin to take charge of the renovation of his Karjat bungalow. However, Nitin’s sense of aesthetics didn’t go down too well with the actor. SpotboyE has it that the two ended up having a heated argument.

A source close to the actor said, “Salman was extremely miffed with the way Nitin was handling things. After all, the Karjat bungalow is close to his heart and he wanted the interiors to be done up in a certain way.”

Things went a step ahead when the Sultan shoot was moved from ND Studios to Yash Raj studios. Buzz is, the actor demanded that the location be changed following his tiff with the art director.

When contacted, Nitin confirmed, “Yes, Salman and I had certain differences.”

Added Nitin, “However, we’re now on the same page. What good will come out of fighting with your own people? I respect Salman. ”

And what about Salman taking the Sultan shoot away from his studios soon after the rift? Nitin said rather defensively, “There is no rift. A major chunk was filmed here and now the Sultan team is shooting at YRF. But they’ll return here in the next few weeks.”

Remains to be seen if Sallu indeed does go back.
