Salman Khan-Kabir Khan Tubelight Jhagda Khatam. Did Someone Play Mediator?

The actor’s collaboration with director Kabir Khan in Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan shattered box-office records, but life is a great leveller. The duo went on to dish out Tubelight, which proved to be a damp squib. For those who've come in late, Salman returned a whole lot of money to exhibitors and distributors who said they'd consequently lost a lot of money. And since then, tongues started wagging that all's not well between the superstar and Kabir. Once a good friend of Salman and also a close member of the Khan-daan, Kabir was conspicuous by his absence at Salman's social gatherings where otherwise he'd been a regular.

Reportedly, Kabir's wife Mini Mathur started  going all out to sort out the scene. Mini even hosted the trailer launch event of Salman’s production venture, Loveratri. And now, we hear the patch up has happened. Kabir left for London to shoot '83 yesterday, but in a far better frame of mind.


There is no khabar yet that who succeeded in making Salman and Kabir kiss and make up. Was it Mini? Or, did time heal the wounds? Or, was it someone else who played mediator? In fact we hear that things are fairly good between the two now, so much so that they might even collaborate on a film again. A source says, "It is a very mature step taken by Salman and Kabir. Bygones should always be bygones."
