Bollywood actor Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming actioner Sikandar. Over the past months, the officials have been investigating the firing incident at his Bandra residence. As reported by the Free Press Journal, the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court on Monday observed that prima facie, they had sufficient material against the five men, allegedly involved with the Bishnoi gang, who were a part of the firing incident. For the unversed two individuals on a bike open fired five rounds of bullets at Khan’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on April 14 at 5 am.

So far the Mumbai Crime Branch has reportedly arrested six people in the case, including Vickykumar Gupta, Sagarkumar Pal, Sonukumar Bishnoi, Anujkumar Thapan, Mohd Rafiq Choudhary and Harpal Singh. It was earlier reported that one of the accused Thapan had died allegedly by suicide while in police custody. The Mumbai police filed a chargesheet against the remaining five, earlier in the month. The report adds that on Monday, the case came up for hearing for the first time when public prosecutor, Jaysing Desai, appeared before the court. BD Shelke, a special judge under MCOCA, took cognisance of the chargesheet and observed that enough prima facie material had been gathered for the proceedings against the accused. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, they said, “There is sufficient prima facie material on record for proceeding against the accused, and hence cognisance (of the chargesheet) is taken.” ALSO READ: Bigg Boss 18 Start Date: Salman Khan's Reality Show To Kickstart From THIS Month! On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
