Now, Salman Khan is a guy you don’t mess with. Hes a straight talking man who does not seem high on patience.
So when he is pushed, dont expect him to taking it lying down.
A few days ago when Salman was shooting in the afternoon at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai, two vehicles carrying men who claimed to be from a political outfit landed on the set. They demanded money for allowing the shoot to continue without any glitches.
No one from the unit came forward to dissuade them except Salman.
The Kick actor had a war of words with the party and made it very clear that no money would change hands.
The men stood their ground and asked that their demands be met. But Salman did not budge. Finally, the men had to beat a hasty retreat.
However, we believe that they did not learn their lesson because it seems that they came back a few hours later and created a bigger ruckus than before. But just like the first time they walked away empty handed.
Buzz is, the industry is hassled. Fimmakers are tearing their hair out. Interference of political parties has been an issue for producers and directors. And it is fast becoming the norm.
Someone has to to end the menace... but how? Someone has to bell the cat... but who? And how many actors in Bollywood will dare to stand up like Salman?
Senior filmmakers like Sajid Nadiadwala, Mukesh Bhatt and Siddharth Roy Kapur are planning to call for a meeting to discuss this issue.
A solution is required. And quickly. No prizes for guessing that Salman is with us, we mean, on this opinion.
