Gangs of Wasseypur maker Anurag Kashyap has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons ever since actress Payal Ghosh accused the filmmaker of sexual harassment. She alleged that he unzipped his pants and forced himself on her. Even though Kashyap called these allegations completely baseless, Taapsee Pannu who has worked with him in Manmarziyaan showed support and said that he is the biggest feminist she knows. Nevertheless, another actress Saiyami Kher who has worked with him in Choked had once penned a long note for Anurag. The note was shared on June 22 and after Anurag was accused by Payal Ghosh, this long note resurfaced online.
While sharing a picture of Anurag hugging Saiyami on her social media, she started with saying, "The first time I met AK he asked me to come to his Versova house. Before I could say anything, he said, “My parents live with me. You don’t have to worry!” He was supposed to be the “Bad Boy of Bollywood.” His life according to the outside world was “riddled with drugs, women & vices.” The truth, I later learnt, was COMPLETELY the opposite." She even mentioned how it took three years to know the man and said, 'He became a friend, mentor & sounding board.' Kher further stated that Anurag has no filters which is perhaps both his boon and bane.
She then concluded her note by saying, "He has a child-like innocence & open-heartedness that is seldom seen in today’s times. He’s so busy playing agony aunt in other people’s lives that perhaps, he forgets about his own. That’s AK for you."
Meanwhile, after Payal Ghosh's accusations against Anurag Kashyap, a screenshot of an old tweet of the actress went viral and netizens questioned her credibility.
