Saira Banu, an ace actor and wife of Dilip Kumar, has finally opened up about her plans to turn her late husband’s Pali Hill bungalow into a museum. Speaking about the same, the actress has shared that she is in possession of precious items belonging to Dilip Kumar, which will be displayed in the museum.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Dilip Kumar was married to his 22-year-old younger co-star, Saira Banu and their love story is a sheer inspiration for many. However, their togetherness came to an end when the latter left for the heavenly abode on July 7, 2021.
In an interaction with ETimes, Saira Banu was asked about the personal belongings of Dilip Kumar and added that she has everything, from his costumes, and books, to his trophies. She also stated that once the museum will be completed, people will discover much more about the veteran actor.
Elaborating on her love for Dilip Saab, Saira said: "As you know, I was completely mad about Dilip Saab, so you can imagine what all I want to keep there. I have everything with me, not just the costumes, but all his personal items, including his writings, books, trophies, and much more that you will discover once the museum is completed."
During the same conversation, Saira Banu recalled the old days and revealed how the late actor didn’t care about his personal belongings. Mentioning how he had no one to care about his awards and possessions, Saira shared that she made an effort to retrieve his awards.
Interestingly, Saira Banu recently made her Instagram debut and shared some lesser-known anecdotes about Dilip Kumar’s life.
