After signing a film featuring her former boyfriend Shahid Kapoor (Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab), Kareena Kapoor is likely to do a film with husband Saif Ali Khan.
While their pairing is the stuff that big-ticket debacles are made of - whether it is LoC Kargil, Tashan, Kurbaan or Agent Vinod- Vikramaditya Motwane has still pulled off a coup.
SpotboyE.com has learnt that the Lootera director is now making a thriller for Phantom Films which will be a quirky take on the dark side of Bollywood.
A source close to the film says,“After Bhavesh Joshi was shelved, Motwane has been working on this one-of-a-kind project which will be part docu, part fiction. Its an interesting take on Bollywood with fictionalised story-lines inspired from real-life personalities.”
And why Saif and Bebo? They fit in the role perfectly. Motwane has a meeting with Saif this week after which a final call will be taken on the casting. Kareena has already been sounded off.
Interestingly, the film will also have Anurag Kashyap. He will enact the role of a director in the film slated to go on floors after Saif wraps up Vishal Bhardwajs Rangoon.
