Saif Ali Khan is one of the biggest Bollywood superstars today and has had a career spanning over 27 years. He made his debut with a leading role in the 1993 Yash Chopra film Parampara but did you know  he was about to make his debut with 1992 film Bekhudi, opposite Kajol? In a recent interview, he admitted that Bekhudi would have been his first film, but unfortunately, he was thrown out as the director of the film Rahul Rawail thought he wasn’t showing enough interest.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Saif Ali Khan recalled his past experience and revealed that he was petrified on his first day on the film set. He was shooting for a song for Bekhudi with his co-star Kajol and director Rahul Rawail, and he had to emerge through fake cobwebs and sing the line, ‘Chaahat Ki Raahon Mein, Kyun Itna Darti Hai.’ He said that while he might be able to pull it off today with years of experience, back then he was petrified. He went on to explain that he might have performed badly. “Soon after, Rahul Rawail threw me out of the film, complaining I wasn't showing enough interest. That shot, I have to admit, was particularly appalling,” he said.

After Saif left the film, Kamal Sadanah was given the main role in Bekhudi. Saif Ali Khan moved on to another film, Parampara, in which he made his debut. “I was pretty bad in Parampara, too, and my voice didn't help. Fortunately, there were several big names in the film, so either I must have stood out like a sore thumb or simply gone unnoticed. I still don't know which," said Saif Ali Khan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Jawaani Jaaneman, co-starring Alaya F, Tabu. ALSO READ: Kareena Kapoor Khan's Asks Her Man Friday To Steam Iron 'Sahab' Saif Ali Khan's Clothes Properly For The Night- Watch BTS Video
