The recently released trailer of Saand Ki Aankh has been hitting the headlines for the talented performance of Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the film. Since the release of the trailer, a lot of controversies have also surfaced around the film and the roles Taapsee and Bhumi have played in the film. While the actresses have given a befitting reply to everyone against their portrayal of older women in the film, the stars Taapsee and Bhumi took to their social media to thank CMO Rajasthan for making Saand Ki Aankh GST free in the state.
Saand Ki Aankh stars Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar posing as sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar from Haryana. While the trailer of the film has been well appreciated by the audiences and critics, fans await the release of Saand Ki Aankh this Diwali. Recently, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took to his Twitter to announce Saand Ki Aankh an SGST free film in Rajasthan. The CMO released an official statement on his social media declaring the film Goods and Services Tax-free in the state.
Overwhelmed with the response and the news, Taapsee Pannu took to her Twitter to retweet the tweet made by the Chief Minister. Thanking the CMO of Rajasthan, Pannu said how much encouragement gives her the strength to keep moving in the direction of empowerment and values his support towards the journey. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Saand Ki Aankh is produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar. The film also stars Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar, and Shaad Randhawa and revolves around the lives of two aged women who decide to take up shooting at the age of 60 in order to encourage their daughters to fight for themselves and become independent.
Saand Ki Aankh is scheduled to hit theatres with a Dhamaka this Diwali.
