Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi will be releasing in theatres on Thursday. The film will be the first to release in theatres after a long wait due to the Coronavirus lockdown. It was on Tuesday when a special screening of Roohi took place, which saw Rajkummar, Janhvi, Varun and several other Bollywood celebrities making an appearance. Now, according to a report, late Bollywood celebrity manager, Disha Salian, who worked with film Roohi actor Varun Sharma was mentioned in the end credits of the movie.
A report in Bollywood Hungama mentioned that the end credits of the film Roohi had Disha Salian’s name mentioned in it. Disha’s name was mentioned as actor Varun Sharma’s manager in the end credits. Disha, who passed away in June 2020, has been credited as ‘Late Disha Salian’ in the credits at the end of the movie.
Meanwhile, Disha Salian passed away on the intervening night of June 8 and June 9. According to reports in the section of the media, she either jumped or accidentally fell from her fiancé building. It was reported that Disha fell off from a 14 storey building in Malad. After hearing about Disha’s demise, saddened by her death, actor Varun Sharma shared a picture with her. Sharing the photo, Varun wrote, “Am at a loss of words. Speechless. Numb. It all looks unreal. So many memories. Such a lovely person and a dear friend. You always wore that smile everyday, and with such kindness you dealt with everything that came your way. You will be deeply missed. Prayers and Strength to the Family. I still can’t believe Disha you’re gone. Gone too Soon (sic).”
Meanwhile, almost a week after Disha Salian’s demise, actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. The actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. Disha worked with SSR too. Soon, many started to believe that the two cases were related. However, the Mumbai Police found no such connection.
