Rocket Boys First Teaser OUT: Jim Sarbh And Ishwak Singh's Show Based on Indian Nuclear Physicists Homi Bhabha-Vikram Sarabhai Looks Promising

The teaser of SonyLIV’s upcoming show starring Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh has been released and it gives sneak peek into Indian nuclear physicists Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai's great accomplishments.

SonyLIV has finally dropped the first teaser of the upcoming series 'Rocket Boys', which stars Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh in the lead roles. Based on the life of Indian nuclear physicists Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, the show is set against the backdrop of a brave new India post-Independence and will retell the stories of India's brightest nuclear physicists. The recently released teaser gives us a sneak peek into the great minds of Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai respectively, and how their accomplishments formed the foundation of a great nation.

Ishwak Singh, who plays Vikram Sarabhai in the series, shared the first promo on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Towards a new India Two extraordinary men who created history while building India's future! Presenting #RocketBoys, streaming soon, only on @sonylivindia.”

The promo begins with Jawaharlal Nehru’s iconic speech ‘Tryst With Destiny’ The show promises to infuse new energy of patriotism while delving into India’s scientific progress. Going by the teaser, the show looks quite promising.

In a statement, talking about his role Jim Sarbh said, “Taking on the role of Homi Bhabha is extremely special, partly because of our shared Parsi heritage, but mostly because of the interesting, driven, Renaissance man he was. His dedication to scientific process and discovery, not least of which are his legacy of world class scientific institutions, his notes on art and culture, and his ability to have a good laugh, make him a delicious character to play.”

Rocket Boys is created by Nikkhil Advani, Roy Kapur Films & Emmay Entertainment,  Directed by Abhay Pannu and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani, Rocket Boys will soon launch on SonyLIV.
