With it comes to wits and humour, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor knows how to ace it. While we all know about the degrading weather conditions of the national capital, there is yet another reason for Delhi to be in the news. Just to give you a quick round-up, Delhi Police and the Lawyers had a fall out that began with a cop asking the three lawyers who had wrongly parked their cars in a certain area, to remove them. This led to a huge showdown between the two troops resulting in 30 people being injured in the vicinity of Tis Hazari Court. Followed by mob violence against the Delhi cop.
Taking a jibe at this situation with sheer sarcasm came Rishi Kapoor’s tweet, “Wah re Dilli! Police maange Protection - lawyer maange Justice - public maange Oxygen!!!!!! Dekh tere insan ki haalat kya ho gai Bhagwan kitna badal gaya insaan!” This tweet of the veteran actor got several replies which are worthy of giving a read at. A while back Priyanka Chopra who is back in the country for shooting her next The White Tiger with Rajkummar Rao has also shown her concern about the capital’s worsening weather. Wearing a mask, she expressed her concern for the many homeless out there, breathing in the same polluted air.
Her post read, “Shoot days for #thewhitetiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone.”
