Today morning, Amitabh Bachchan and a good friend to Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter handle and shared the tragic news of Rishi Kapoor passing away at 8:45 AM. The demise news shattered everyone and his fans along with the Bollywood, Television stars and the sports fraternity are mourning over his death. After suffering from Leukemia for almost two years, reportedly cancer was relapsed and hence, the actor was admitted to the hospital late in the night and much to everyone’s dismay, Rishi Kapoor is no more.

As the entire country in mourning, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress and a member of the parliament Smriti Irani recalls some precious words from the veteran actor and those words were “Bhag jaldi Dilli pagal,” when he came to know that she had been summoned to the national capital to take oath after formation of a new government. Paying a tribute to Kapoor, Irani remembered her last meeting with the actor on a movie set which followed with a sweet note that read, “In 2014 he told me ‘bhag jaldi Dilli pagal ‘ for he knew I’ve been summoned to take oath. The last I saw him was on a set and that’s how il remember him. Prodding you to do your best, caring for the little things, teaching you the craft no matter how old you were on the job.”

She also shared another tweet right after the previous one which read, Khannas, Kapoors and Malhotras he said will always love the good life, will always laugh gregariously ... make the heavens happy Rishi Sir. Will miss you.”


Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain and Neetu Singh are in the hospital amidst the Coronavirus lockdown. As it is reported, Rishi Kapoor's funeral is supposed to take place in Chandanwadi Crematorium, Marine Lines, her daughter might not reach on time for the funeral because she resides in Delhi and due to the lockdown imposed post the outbreak of Coronavirus, she could not travel to Mumbai, even though she has been granted permission to travel by road.
