Rishi Kapoor had traveled to New York and had stayed away from home for his cancer treatment. He could not even attend the funeral of his mother as he was undergoing the treatment when she breathed her last. He was a part of many iconic films like Deewana, Amar Akbar Anthony, Bobby, Sagaar, Bol Radha Bol, Kabhi Kabhi and many more. He was an actor par excellence and the film industry has lost one of the finest actors it ever produced.

Our condolences with the family.
