First his Piku co-star Irrfan Khan and then his close buddy and co-star of many films Rishi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan is devastated after losing both his favourite co-stars. On April 30, Big B was the first person to break the news of Rishi Kapoor’s sad demise. The megastar had taken to Twitter and had said that Rishi Kapoor is gone and he’s devastated. Soon after, Big B went silent on social media till his good friend was cremated at Marine Lines. On April 30th evening, Amitabh Bachchan had paid tribute to Rishi Kapoor in his blog.

Last night, Big B shared 102 Not Out’s song Waqt Ne Kiye Haseen Sitam from 102 Not Out crooned by the man himself. He captioned it, “Waqt… Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam .. Tum rahe na tum, Hum rahe na hum ..”

Amitabh Bachchan’s latest post sees a collage of pictures. The first picture is with Irrfan Khan from the sets of Piku, the 2nd picture sees Rishi Kapoor planting a kiss on his cheeks while hugging him and the last one is from their Amar Akbar Anthony days. Writing an emotional caption alongside, he said, “The death of an elder celebrity vs death of a younger .. the grief of the latter more intense than that of the former .. why ..? The younger more tragic. Why the loss of the young seems more tragic than that of the older .. Because you lament the loss of opportunity in the latter .. unrealised possibilities”

Paying his tribute to his Piku co-star Irrfan Khan, Big B had shared a blank picture and had written, “.. just getting news of the passing of Irfaan Khan .. this is a most disturbing and sad news .. An incredible talent .. a gracious colleague .. a prolific contributor to the World of Cinema .. left us too soon .. creating a huge vacuum ..
