Rishi Kapoor and his Twitter tales continue. In the latest incident, the senior actor tweeted a meme of Hillary Clinton, that was apparently shared with him by Abhishek Bachchan. The meme had a picture of Hillary Clinton coughing in front of the mic and the text read, “Monica, is this right?” The meme, with its sexual undertones, was obviously a reference to White House intern Monica Lewinsky and her alleged affair with Clinton’s husband Bill Clinton.

No sooner had Rishi posted his tweet, the actor was trolled and faced severe backlash for his joke.

Not one to get bogged down, Rishi stood his ground and lashed out at his trolls. The actor’s argument was that it’s his “prerogative to comment” and if people don’t like his tweets, they can delete him from their timeline.

In the past too, Rishi has had several instances where his jokes didn’t go down well with Tweeple. In May this year, the senior actor got into serious trouble when he targeted the Gandhi family for naming national assets after them (JUST IN: Congress workers protest outside Rishi Kapoor’s bungalow for his anti-Gandhi rant,
