In these trying times for not just the country but the whole world, Rishi Kapoor has come forward and expressed concerns for the citizens of Pakistan. The veteran actor let his emotions known via Twitter when he tweeted, “With all due respect, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan should also advice his country to take adequate precautions. People of Pakistan are also dear to us. Once we were one. We are concerned too. This is a global crisis. No ego matter this. We love you guys. Humanity zindabad!”

This tweet by Rishi Kapoor has evoked a positive response from the community, especially with Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali. He replied to the tweet with a tweet of his own by saying “Thank you so much for your lovely wishes. Much love and respect to you. You are right, we are all in this together and this is not about countries, but about humanity. Humanity Zindabad! Hope we overcome this threat soon. Love and best wishes to you,” Ali tweeted.

Meanwhile, the status quo of the industry has remained the same as shootings of every format of entertainment i.e. films, T.V. and digital have been halted and all the actors, filmmakers as well as the technicians are confined to their own houses.

Just recently, Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has tested positive for coronavirus after she returned from London to Lucknow. The singer is currently in quarantine in a Lucknow hospital, post which contact tracing is underway. It is also being reported that Kanika had attended a party with over 100 people, after her return.
