Rishi Kapoor has passed away today morning, leaving everyone shocked. From his fans to Bollywood celebs and TV celebs, everyone is mourning over veteran star’s death. Today, his 102 Not Out co-star Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news on his Twitter handle by writing, ‘He's GONE.’ As we all are in disbelief, Juhi Chawla is completely shocked and simply can’t belive her co-star Rishi Kapoor’s tragic demise. The actress who has done several films together like Bol Radha Bol, Eena Meena Deeka, Sajan Ka Ghar, and Daraar took to her Twitter handle and shared a tweet on Rishi Kapoor.
Her tweet read, “No no no no .... this is not happening ...!! This is sad ............... ... very very very very very sad...!!! See-no-evil monkey.... I'm shocked beyond words.” However, in a chat with Pinkvilla, Juhi confessed she is devastated by the news of Rishi's demise. "It's too sad. Just too sad. I'm devastated.... Can't believe this," she was quoted saying by the portal. After his death, an official statement was released, titled ‘A message from Rishi Kapoor’s family’ which read, “Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last. He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents.”
Post his cancer treatment, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in Emraan Hashmi’s The Body and had recently announced his next project, a remake of Hollywood film The Intern, also featuring Deepika Padukone.
