He breathed his last today in Mumbai surrounded by his family members. He lost the battle of life to cancer. Social media is abuzz with fans and stars pouring in their condolences and mourning the Bobby actor's death. Meanwhile, a video of him taking part in Narendra Modi's Janta Curfew initiative has surfaced online.

The video sees Rishi Kapoor banging a plate with a spoon and showing gratitude to all the healthcare workers and policemen who are working hard to keep everyone safe from Coronavirus. The video reminded many of his Daflliwale days. Rishi Kapoor did many iconic songs and one of them was Daflliwale Daflli Baja with Jaya Prada from Sargam. In the video, Rishi Kapoor has a sweet smile on his face as he took part in the initiative.

He was one of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood and his demise is considered to be a great loss to the film industry. His funeral is supposed to take place at Chandanwadi Crematorium, Mumbai.
