Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, one of most adored couples in Bollywood, have now joined hands to produce films. Richa and Ali have together launched a production house named Pushing Buttons, which seems an apt title considering both the actors have constantly displayed an adventurous spirit as actors.
Their debut film as co-producers is titled Girls Will Be Girls, and will be directed by a young female filmmaker Shuchi Talati. Her short film Mae & Ash about an open relationship earlier fetched her good critical response. Girls Will Be Girls is described as a “a coming-of-age, sexual awakening film set in a conservative boarding school in India.”
While it is not clear yet if Richa or Ali have an acting role to play in their production, a friend of Richa does reveal that she would have an active to play in their production.
One also gathers that all their joint productions need not feature them as actors.
Richa Chadha was last seen in Madam Chief Minister and London Confidential. She will soon be seen in the third season of India's first Amazon original web series, Inside Edge and a web series, Six Suspects, opposite Pratik Gandhi.
