On Friday, we brought you the scoop of Vikas Bahl's marital life heading for a courtroom drama (SCOOP: Shaandaar Director Vikas Bahl's Wife Richa Files For Divorce, October 9).
Well, this relationship is not going to mend. The parting has been clearly ugly.
Richa Bahl gets terribly offended if and when someone wants to talk to her about Vikas.
A call to her from SpotboyE, over the weekend, had her saying, "I don't want to talk about my impending divorce."
When probed further, Richa retorted, "How is it anybody's business?"
Well Richa, you're the wife of a known director who made the cult film Shaandaar, so the media will ask you about your personal life- whether you like it or not. That's that!
Buzz is, the villain-of-the-piece is Chaitally Parmar, who co-wrote the Kangana Ranaut starrer (Queen Director Vikas Bahl Is Dating The Film's Writer Chaitally!, June 22).
Vikas and Chaitally have been together since more than two years. Vikas' new flame is an alumnus of Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods where she did a course in film-making (production).
The two met when she joined UTV as part of the script development team. At that point, he was heading UTV Spotboy (the indie arm of the studio). Sparks flew instantly and before you knew it, his relationship with Chaitally led to cracks in his marriage.
SpotboyE also has it that Chaitally moved out of UTV Spotboy almost around the same time that Vikas did to form Phantom Films with Madhu Mantena, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.
