After Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others, accusing them of abetment of suicide. As the investigation in the case continues, actress Rhea Chakraborty who has been named in the complaint that she siphoned at least Rs 15 crore from the late actor’s bank accounts now releases a statement explaining herself. The statement released by Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer to IndiaToday he shared about the time when Sushant Singh Rajput had been calling his family, informing them of his decision to move out of Mumbai and requesting them to come and meet him. Talking about June 2020, in the statement, Rhea’s lawyer mentioned how after several days of Sushant calling and crying over the phone, his sister, Meethu Singh then agreed to come live with him on the June 8, 2020. The statement mentioned that it was then due to the development that Sushant requested Rhea to live with her parents for the time being.
Rhea’s lawyer then mentioned about the actress suffering from her own anxiety issues and often endured panic attacks. The lawyer then added in the statement, “Sushant's conduct also aggravated these conditions.” Chakraborty’s lawyer continued to share about how Rhea was not comfortable to leave SSR. The statement read, “Even though Rhea was desirous of seeing her family, she was not at all comfortable with leaving Sushant.”
