It was yesterday that the news of an FIR filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father against actress Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar surfaced. Sushant’s father KK Singh leveled several accusations against Rhea Chakraborty, and also accused her of abetment of suicide, among other things. After that, Rhea’s legal advisor was spotted outside her residence at night. Now, reports on the Internet state that Rhea Chakraborty has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death to Mumbai.

News agency ANI tweeted about the same, and quoted Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde’s quote. The tweet by ANI read, “Petition filed by actor Rhea Chakraborty in Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in #SushantSinghRajput's death to Mumbai: Satish Maneshinde, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer. In the FIR lodged by Sushant Singh Rajput's father in Bihar, he made several serious allegations against Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. You can read them in brief, here.  A team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai to investigate the case after the FIR was filed by Sushant's father. While speaking to Times Now, Sushant’s cousin Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the family wants Rhea to be arrested. He also urged Mumbai Police to support Bihar Police in the investigation of this case.
