Rhea Chakraborty who has been accused of abetment to suicide by Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh had been maintaining a distance from media and social media, until now. This morning, the actress spoke in length with a TV news channel. And even as clips from her interview are making noise on social media, she has gone ahead and shared a video on her Instagram page. Writing a long note with it, she seeks protection from Mumbai police for herself and her family.
In her post Rhea wrote, "This is inside my building compound , The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer). We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life .We have informed the local police station and even gone there , no help provided . We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them, no help arrived. She also added, "We are only asking for assistance, to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us. I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies. #safetyformyfamily. Few minutes back Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik reached the DRDO office in Mumbai to be questioned. Meanwhile, as per Times Now, Rhea’s father was recently at the Santacruz police station to file a police complaint, possibly for the same.
