Almost two weeks back Times Now had made an explosive revelation that Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet SIngh, and designer Simone used to take drugs with Sushant SIngh Rajput. It was reported that Rhea had given out these names to the NCB while being interrogated by the agency officials. There were many other reports that stated that NCB had raided Sushant's Lonavala bungalow too and found hukka, medicines, and cigarettes.
Now in a new twist to the case, Rhea's lawyer Mr. Satish Maneshinde, while speaking to CNN News 18 has revealed that Rhea Chakraborty never gave names of any Bollywood actor to the NCB during her three-day interrogation in their Mumbai office. He said, " "Rhea did not name any Bollywood actors." When probed about Jaya Saha's role and how her interrogation led to big names like Deepika Padukone, Sharddha Kapoor, Madhu Mantena flashing in news, Maneshnde said, “What Jaya has done is to her knowledge."
Satish Maneshinde also clarified the CBD oil chat that came in news and was allegedly given to Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea's lawyer spoke on her behalf and stated, " What Jaya had done for Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty, was send CBD oil, which is an extract of ganja leaves and is not a narcotics substance."
Earlier the caretaker of Sushant's bungalow, Raees, had revealed that Sara, Rhea, and Shraddha had come to his Lonavala house. A boatman who ferried all to an island near the house had stated that Sushant and the actresses had visited the island on different occasions and used to indulge in drugs too.
As per Republic, the latest update is that summons have been sent to all the Bollywood names that have popped up. Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta will be questioned tomorrow by NCB. Deepika Padukone on 25th September, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan to be questioned on 26th September.
