Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma's wedding is what fairy tales are made of. Not just was the wedding guests handpicked, each detail of the wedding was minutely scrutinized well in advance. Now, we get to know that the guests attending the wedding received a special return gift from the newlyweds. Wonder what the gift was?
Well, it was an anthology of poem written by the popular mid-century poet - Rumi.
During an interview the wedding planners informed, “Anushka and Virat are extremely spiritual people, I don’t know how many people know this about them. She wanted everything to be about growth and prosperity, so the whole wedding was in fact inspired by the idea of an overgrown garden. They are big fans of Rumi and his poetry, so an anthology of his poems was given as a take back present for all the guests.”
This detail about them being spiritual was definitely something that was known to a really less number of people.
The newlyweds, who have bought a swanky Rs 34 Crore apartment in Worli, Mumbai, will travel to South Africa soon after the celebrations get over. Virat will start prepping for the upcoming series and Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him and return in the first week of January to begin the next schedule of Aanand L Rai’s film, Rangbaaz, with Shah Rukh Khan & Katrina Kaif in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on February 9.
