Ever since top Bollywood names such as Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh, have emerged in a drug probe by the Narcotics Control Bureau, it is being reported that a few male superstars are on the radar next of the agency. It was recently reported that three co-stars of Deepika Padukone have come under the scanner and have been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for interrogation. However, all of these reports are said to be false.

As reported by Times of India, a member of NCB's team investigating the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood, has rubbished all these reports around Deepika's co-stars. When asked for a comment on the same, he stated, “Do you want me to comment on false stories some of the media is reporting?" Earlier, another news surrounding the actresses and NCB was termed as false. It was being reported that the investigating agency has 'almost' given a clean chit to Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. However, to Mumbai Mirror, an official stated, "The news article mentioning that the drugs law enforcement agency giving a clean chit to those examined by NCB is devoid of the facts and truth.”

Deepika, Sara and Shraddha were interrogated by the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 26 while Rakul Preet Singh was grilled by the agency a day prior. Deepika's name emerged after her alleged drugs-chat with manager Karishma Prakash came to light. Shraddha and Sara Ali Khan were reportedly quizzed about Sushant Singh Rajput and drugs.
