The news of choreographer-director Remo D'Souza suffering from a heart attack came as a shock for everyone, as he had no history of a heart ailment. Now thankfully Remo has been recuperating from it with the help of medical treatment after being hospitalized at Kokilaben Hospital. His wife Lizelle shared an update on his health, informing that the doctors conducted angiography. Now, in a conversation with ETimes, producer Ramesh Taurani too gave out another update.
As per reports in ETimes, the producer had a word with his wife, who informed him of a stent being put in his body. He also reassured that Remo is stable now. A stent is a metal mesh inserted in the body for aiding the free flow of blood when one faces an issue of blocked coronary arteries. He was quoted saying, “I spoke to Remo's wife. A stent (a metal mesh inserted in surgical procedures to make blood flow freely in blocked coronary arteries) has been put. He is stable now.”
As per yesterday’s reports, his wife Lizelle was asked about his discharge from the hospital, replying to which she said, “He’s fine now, much better. They (doctors) will decide tomorrow.”
While speaking to SpotboyE,
Remo's close pal Ahmed Khan confirmed that Remo was recovering well, but the news of his heart attack was unbelievable. He also shared that he visited him but did not get to see him.
