Actress Rashmika Mandanna enjoys a huge fan following on social media. Fans are always eagerly waiting for her to announce her projects. They were shocked when a video of her entering a life while wearing skimpy clothes went viral. It was later revealed that she became a victim of deepfake video technology. The video originally belonged to a British-Indian influencer Zara Patel. With clarifications and concerns over the AI technology surfacing on the internet, actor Amitabh Bachchan expressed his concern too.
Now, Rashmika has taken to her official social media handle to express her gratitude towards the veteran actor for his standing up for her. Taking to her X, formerly known as Twitter, handle, she wrote, “Thankyou for standing up for me sir, I feel safe in a country with leaders like you.” She went on to pen a note about how going through something like this can be traumatic for anyone. While she is grateful for the support she received from her loved ones, having to experience something unimaginable is quite scary.
