Rashmika Mandanna has been making waves across South and Bollywood. Amid her soaring fanbase, the actor is gradually inching towards becoming the national crush, all thanks to her the poplar character Srivalli in from Pushpa: The Rise. However, success didn’t come easy!

During the promotion of her latest outing, Mission Majnu, the actress opened up about her childhood trauma and negativity. 

For those unaware, Rashmika has often been on the receiving end, yet she manages to maintain a smiling face and has learned to live happily at a young age. She further revealed that when she lived in a hostel away from home as a child, she had to face many problems.

The 26-year-old actress revealed that she had communication issues which led to misunderstandings. This ultimately resulted in difficulties to connect with other children of her age. People misunderstood her and as a result, she locked herself in a room and cry for hours.

However, it was her mother who stood by her, making her feel calm. Rashmika also maintained that she shared the intimate details of her life with her mother, who always supported her in understanding her problems. Mandanna calls her mother her biggest strength as she was always there for her. 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Rashmika recently released two films this year. However, fans are eagerly waiting for Pushpa 2: The Rule, which will have Allu Arjun as the male lead. She will also be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
